Meet the Staff

Sherri Henderson, Director

“I love working at The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club.     I enjoy seeing our children smile and hearing them laugh.  I like being a mentor, someone whom they can trust and can talk to when faced with a difficult situation.  Working with the next generation is important and the most rewarding job in the world!”

Robby Burnett, Unit Director

“I was raised by a single parent, and as a kid the most important thing about the Boys and Girls Club was that I had role models to look up. Coming back to the Boys and Girls Club after college was a calling; I wanted to give back. I’ve been here ten years and the ‘thank you’ I get from the kids everyday, those who are going there now and those that have graduated, means more to me than the money I could make somewhere else.”

Tara Nager, Program Director

I have a passion for working with children and their families. I believe that each individual child is important and should be aware of their potential. By working at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, I am able to help these children to discover their potential through after school activities.
